CHILDREN'S BEATITUDES
Blessed is the child who has someone who believes in him, to whom he can carry his problems unafraid.
Blessed is the child who is allowed to pursue his curiosity into every worthwhile field of information.
Blessed is the child who has someone who understands that childhood's griefs are real and call for understanding and sympathy.
Blessed is the child who has about him those who realize his need of Christ as Savior and will lead him patiently and prayerfully to the place of acceptance.
Blessed is the child whose love of the true, the beautiful and the good has been nourished through the years.
Blessed is the child whose imagination has been turned into channels of creative effort.
Blessed is the child whose efforts to achieve have found encouragement and kindly commendation.
Blessed is the child who has learned freedom from selfishness through responsibility and cooperation with others.
Author Unknown
I am a student,
called by God the Creator to think his thoughts after Him.
I am a gatherer of truth
with others like me.
I seek to serve the Creator
and His creation of which I am part.
This will always be my mission,
and I will not accept defeat.
I will discipline myself to study,
seeking to have a healthy body, mind, and heart
that I might possess the truth and be possessed by it.
Ignorance and falsehood are my enemies,
and I will strive to overcome them as God gives me strength.
I will always thirst for knowledge.
I will never stop learning.
I will never stop asking questions.
I will never stop thinking.
I will strive to cultivate wisdom, virtue and truth
through meditation on
the True, the Good and the Beautiful.
This is a place of ideas.
You live in a world filled with ideas,
where some are true, some are false, and some are a mix of the two.
You must make a decision about them.
Try to decide wisely.
We are confident in and seek to follow the Creator’s ideas
as we believe those are revealed in the Bible.
We commend those to you as reliable and true.
Use them to examine the other ideas
so that you might be nourished
by the truth and unharmed by the false.
